Welcome to the Breiðavík tourist service website.

At Breidavik there is a tourist service and a working farm with approximately 700 sheep. During the years 1950 -1980 the farm was run by the government as a home for adolescents, mainly young boys.
In the year 1999 the current owners took over the farm and have been running it, along with a tourist service, ever since.
There is accommodation to suit the needs of each and every guest.
Breidavik is well situated for tourists who want to enjoy unspoilt nature and magnificent birdlife. The beauty of the area is renowned; it also abounds with interesting folktales and places of natural and historical interest.
The landscape is characterized by white beaches that give the ocean the color of the Mediterranean.
The staff at Breidavik are committed and dedicated in their service to their guests to make their stay a pleasant one. The staff offers a personal and friendly service so the guests feel right at home.
The owners and your hosts at Breidavik are the couple
Birna M Atladóttir and Keran Stueland Ólason.
